Rooms and walls
Draw the apartment outline wall by wall, entering each length in millimeters. Interior walls work the same. Room areas calculate automatically.
What this is for
Most people come here before buying furniture. You want to know if the L-shaped sofa fits in the living room with the TV unit and still leaves space to walk to the balcony. Drawing it takes 20 minutes. Getting it wrong costs money and a lot of annoyance.
The other common situation is renovation. You're moving a wall, changing the kitchen layout, or redoing the bathroom — and you need something on paper to show the contractors and agree on details. A labeled PDF from Apeyron CAD is faster to make and easier to read than a hand sketch.
It also works well if you're buying an apartment off-plan. You get the developer's floor plan, upload it as a background, trace the walls, and start trying out furniture layouts before the place even exists.
Doors and windows

Uploading an existing plan
If you already have a floor plan — a developer's PDF, a photo from the listing, or a scan of the original drawings — you can upload it as a background image. Type one measurement you know (the length of a wall, for example), and the editor scales everything to match. Then you trace the walls on top. Takes about 10–15 minutes for a typical apartment, and then you can start moving furniture around on top of the real layout.
